1st Point of Pride: Game Night with Feeder Schools

Description of the initiative or special recognition: Game night with feeder schools is designed to foster community engagement and collaboration between a primary or elementary school and its feeder schools, typically middle or high schools. The purpose is to create a sense of continuity and shared identity among students as they progress through different stages of their education.

By bringing students from different schools together in a fun and relaxed environment, game night helps break down barriers and build relationships between peers who may not otherwise interact. It also allows older students to serve as mentors and role models for younger students, fostering a sense of responsibility and community leadership.

 

2nd Point of Pride: Top District US History Milestone Scores (Winter) 

Description of the initiative or special recognition: Celebrates academic excellence and achievement in the subject of US History among students within the district. This initiative aims to honor and highlight the dedication, hard work, and academic prowess of both students and educators who have demonstrated exceptional performance on US History milestone assessments.

Top District US History Milestone Scores have a far-reaching impact on the school, inspiring students to excel academically, empowering educators to deliver high-quality instruction, and fostering a culture of academic excellence, historical literacy, and community pride within the district.

3rd Point of Pride: Increased Student And Faculty Attendance 

Description of the initiative or special recognition: The initiative to recognize outstanding student and faculty attendance is a proactive approach to reinforcing the importance of consistent attendance and punctuality in the educational environment.
