CHARLES R. DREW HIGH SCHOOL 



Charles Richard Drew was an American surgeon and medical researcher. He researched in the field of blood transfusions, developing improved techniques for blood storage, and applied his expert knowledge to developing large-scale blood banks early in World War II.
Charles R. Drew High School opened in 2009 under the leadership of Principal Gary Townsend. The first graduating class was in 2012. Since 2009, Charles R. Drew High School has served as the model school for excellence for Clayton County Public Schools.
