Q.U.E.E.N.S Mentoring Program, Inc. is a youth development program housed at
Charles R. Drew High School. The primary goal of our program is to Empower, Educate, and Connect Teenage Girls through a SISTERHOOD by providing them with the necessary tools to make positive life choices and help them realize their WORTH as a Quality. Unique. Educated. Elegant. Noble. Superwoman. QUEENS take pride in working with young ladies in order to help them with skills to last a lifetime!

To enhance teenage girls potential to succeed in high school through mentoring, education and exposure to a broader world of opportunities.

QUEENS Mentoring Program, Inc. envisions to empower, educate and connect teenage girls through a sisterhood to decrease high school dropout rates.

Teacher of the Year


AFJROTC Cadet Corps was awarded the Distinguished Unit Award by Col. Bobby Woods, AFJROTC Director. The award is for meeting standards on this year’s unit evaluation and for attaining a minimum 12 hours average volunteer service per cadet.  The cadets earned 14.9 hours for a community service average.
